Looking for Additional Opportunities?

While we aren’t able to provide fee waivers or discounts, some schools may qualify to serve as a Regional Championship host — which comes with a complimentary registration. Hosting isn’t the right fit for every school, and spaces are limited, but if you’d like to learn more, reach out and we’ll share details.

What Happens After You Register?

We keep it simple so you can focus on your students, not paperwork. Here’s how it works:

1. Register your school (takes just minutes).

Once you register, you’ll receive access to your Sponsor Panel. From there, you’ll:

Pick the date for your school’s online competition (anytime between Thanksgiving and Christmas).

Generate student play codes (we’ll walk you through this closer to November).

2. Skip the credit card hassle.

No payment due at sign-up. You’ll get an invoice you can pass along to your school bookkeeper. We’ll handle W9s, purchase orders, and all the red-tape stuff so you don’t have to.

3. Students play in class.

On the date you selected, students log in with their play codes and complete the online competition right in class. It takes about 25 minutes. Afterwards, you’ll get:

A schoolwide performance report comparing results nationally.

Individual score reports (perfect to send home).

4. Top students move on.

The highest-scoring students in each grade from your school will be invited to a Regional Championship in the spring. It’s a buzzer-based, fast-paced live event — no registration fee required. Teachers aren’t expected to attend; your work is done after the online competition.

5. Nationals await.

Top students from each region will advance to the National Championship to compete for prizes, scholarships, and the title of Great History Challenge National Champion.
